Eilayda is the beloved fairy queen of Velhal’s enchanted magical forest. When a terrible disease begins to plague the fairies, her realm is abruptly plunged into peril. Eilayda leaves the forest in quest of the “origin resin,” a potent magical substance that is essential to making the remedy, in order to save her people.
But in a human metropolis, deep within its notorious prison district—a haven for criminals and evil spirits—the only known resin is sold. Nevertheless, desperate to locate the resin and escape the gloomy shadows of the human world, Eilayda makes the decision to venture into the district.
