Harmony Girls required a significant amount of VRAM (or RAM when using integrated graphics) forcing me to add quality settings which reduce the number of frames in animations during the minigame. If you’re using integrated graphics your regular system RAM will be used. However, windows uses a significant amount of RAM so add roughly 6GB to the RAM usage to get an estimate for required RAM. This is a rough estimate of VRAM/RAM usage for each quality setting.

High Quality:

• 6GB VRAM
• 6GB RAM on integrated graphics

Medium Quality:

• 3GB VRAM
• 3GB RAM on integrated graphics

Low Quality:

• 2GB VRAM
• 2GB RAM on integrated graphics

If you notice graphical issues, or the game crashes without an error message, or the game crashes with an error message you can’t read because it’s glitched, you probably need to lower the quality setting. The reduced framerate animations only affect the minigame. Event animations and the images in the gallery are unaffected, so you can always watch the full version of the images there.
