• One new animation scene with Astri, that currently has 2 animations – main loop + cum.
• Added the slave market and all the girls in Skadiland, their scenes could be played there as well. The location of the dock is near the Wulfar village.

Story & Quests

• One new quest with Astri that has 11 tasks and progresses the story with the stolen items. This quest will unlock new features in the next update.
• Added a thief character.

AI

• Enemies can surrender if their health reaches 0 and add the player to their friendly faction, allowing you to talk to them – This can be seen in the new quest with Astri.
• All the NPCs in Skadiland have a simple movement routine instead of staying in one place, this will be extended and they will be performing tasks when close to certain objects.
• At night enemies will sleep and not be interactable.
• Added a spear animation set and AI, can be seen during the new quest with Astri, but the thief will be using a wooden stick instead of a spear.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Added the blacksmithing area in Skadiland, where you can upgrade your weapons. It’s in the Hertha’s farm in the right house to the main one, you can see the blacksmithing sign.
• Fixed a bug where you can get stuck on day 5 after the Harald’s fishing quest if you talk to Harald again after completion of the training quest, he may change Hilde’s dialogue to restart that training quest making you stuck in a loop.
• The axe weapon is added in Kajgard as well, if you are a $15 supporter, you can use it in every scene now.
• Rebaked the navigation in Skadiland.
• Added more bushes and plant models in Skadiland

• Added 4 extra animations to the Threesome scene which are completely different poses, including cum. This scene is available in the Story mode as well.
• SFW animation scene with Alvilda, discussing her condition.
• Improved the last tasks of the Herbs’ quest, now Hertha is showing you how to shoot the ships. Added extra dialogues and notifications for Hertha and Sigrid.
• Added more dialogues for Alvilda’s condition.
• Added a dialogue before Hilde’s riding animation scene during the quest “Night Journey”
• Camera improvements during sex animations. The old camera had a hard time changing position / rotation (and limits) in the scope of 1 animation scene, but now we have added more features and you can see how during the threesome animation the camera changes its transform a couple of times when the player is standing up, lying down on the ground etc.
• Improved the archer Ai’s detection, could be seen during the Herbs question task – “Burn the Ships”target
• Updated the dev save to load the latest Alvilda quest in Skadiland
• Changed the splash screen
• Increased the time you have to find Hilde in the waters from 15 seconds to 20. Fixed a bug that kept you stuck in a loop if you exited the dialogues of the animation scene after you save Hilde.
• Trigger cum particles from dialogues – could be seen in the new threesome scene. The particle system will be further improved to simulate female’s orgasm and give the user option to start it as much as they’d like.
• Added more models to Hertha’s farm and Sigrid’s cabin. Next we are bringing up the blacksmith area and slave market.
• Fixed a bug with Sigrid not appearing after the sex scene with Hilde or if you exit it before finishing the dialogues.
• Fixed a bug with skipping to give items / cold to backers.

Viking’s Daughter v0.22.0 Changelog

Before the changelog, we want to let you know that we made a couple of changes to the scene names and the new island is now named Skadiland. If you have an old save there, it may cause some issues in case you load it now.

If you want to load a save, then press Load Game -> Yes – this will ensure you have a stable progressed save.

NSFW Scenes

• New animation scene with Hilde that has 8 animations (about 2500 frames) – it can be found in the Playground mode and Story mode.

Quests

• New quest while on the ship.
• Extended the “Find Alvilda” quest.
• New quest “Gather the crew”
• New quest “Traps”
• New quest “Night Journey”
• Quest timers improved – you have a limited time to complete a quest or you fail and have to restart.

Scenes

• One new scene has been added, which contains dialogues and quests in the ocean, while traveling to the Skadiland. It’s not 100% done and we are waiting for an erotic scene and dialogues to add there.

New Systems & AI

• We spent a lot of time making NPCs fight each other based on their clan, it will be shown in the next version since it needs a bit more polish
• Increased the hit collider of some of the enemies
• Adjusted the health / damage to some enemies
• Walk to location AI
• Talk AI – mainly used during quests where you and the character are walking towards a location and now we can display dialogues in the meantime
• Night time mode
• Placing items on the ground (during Trap quest)
• Improved weather on Skadiland.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Big improvements to the Skadiland, more vegetation and better post processing effects.
• The attack collider of the NPCs gets disabled during dodging so you won’t take damage, in the past you could still get hit if you were too close while the NPC was dodging.
• Fixed one bug that made some Linux devices crash
• Better and more performant anti aliasing in the new scene
• Scene loading improvements – based on your platform, we are using different ways to load the next scene

If you want to have all of the NSFW scenes unlocked form the start without playing the story, then hop in the Playground mode! Meet all of the characters and replay all of the animation scenes at anytime in Playground, all of them will be unlocked from the start!

Can I run the game on my old machine?
-When you first start the game, it’s going to pick up the highest possible settings, but we have implemented in-game settings menu (ESC – Settings), where you can tweak the settings to play with a higher frame rate.
